The Beach House is a summer house for a client who values a quiet time away from the busy city. The single story house sits on top of a hill overlooking the Pacific Highway and the ocean beyond, the layout is designed with two wings flanking a linear infinity pool that sits on the edge of the outdoor deck, The two wings consist of a guest wing and a main wing which allows for privacy between the rooms, the rooms open up to the pool patio which acts as the common space for the house’s residents while providing unobstructed views out to the ocean. The residence features a basement level accessed from the outside, with a gym area, sauna and a wine cellar.
